Thanks to Ken for inviting me & Scuba Sally along on his charter. Here are the highlights:

All six of our dives were at depths between 15 and 45 ft. deep. Surface temp was 72 F, but everything below 15 ft. was in the 52-57 F range. Visibility was excellent, with between 25 ft. and 45 ft. visibility at all depths!! We dived on 5 different wrecks, repeating the biggest and best one on the second day, including a tug boat, 3 barges, and the structural remains of a wooden ship. We saw thousands of freshwater Gobies, millions of Zebra Mussels, a handful of Alewives, a couple Crawfish, and some freshwater sponges.

And we managed to dodge all the thunderstorms as well as most of the rain.

Sounds like a good time, even though Ken was there. :D

I am still hoping to make it up there before the year is over, probably on the other side of the lake though.

Ken was the consummate host. He made sure we got the best deal on the hotel, let us follow him to the dock, and joined us for an excellent meal Saturday night at a Greek family restaurant.

And most importantly, he chartered the boat and invited us.

I'm glad you guys could make it and had a good time. I'd go up there just for the Greek resturant! Becca and I stopped there again on the way home.
