What are you calling HP tanks? I do no kon of any HP130,s but some HP120's. They do make som MP130's.

HP tanks are 3500 or greater and you cant find any higher in the US that are over 3500. 3442 are MP tanks and can be found all over the US. Most shops might need to order them. They do make a LP130. Brother Skull has one.

Ah yes, I loved that LP 131. Recently sold it to someone who had it repainted red and custom lettered to read "The Bigger Red Tank"! It was a monster.

Funny part is I sold it to pay for a used E-Series 130 tank--what you are referring to as a MP 130, and what most of us crusty old divers would call a LP 104 with a DOT exemption to pump it to 3442. I think most of the shops are calling it either an E8-130 or an X-130.

The true HP 120s are good, too, though verrry negatively buoyant!

X-Scuba calls them X-130's. Very nice tanks (love mine)

You are correct. They are now calling them X8-130 tanks rated at 3442 psi. If anyone has these used or possible even a 120 then let me know.

Thanks

I truely think this will be a hard tank to find used. Mostly everyone I talked to that dives the new 130's are going to keep them. I in the market my self for another new pair.
