Hi all,
Things are definitely looking better at Mermet now.
There was 20-25 ft. visibility in the deep water (below 70 ft.)!! The shallow water is also improved, with 5-10 ft. vis in the first 20 ft. depth (where the temp was 75 F) and 10-15 ft. vis between 30 and 50 ft. depth (where the temp was 55 F).
Had a beautiful weekend of diving, with a couple deep dives and a nice tour dive in addition to the OW class we were working. Very busy weekend at Mermet, with app. 200 divers there for the weekend. It's amazing how that place can swallow that many divers without really seeming crowded. Only the line for BBQ had any kind of wait going on.
