Okie Needs Buddy -July 20th, 2008

I am going to be in Buffalo Grove, Ill. on July 21-25,2008 for some work related training. I thought I would try to get in some diving at Haigh Quarry on Sunday July 20th, 2008. I'm from Tulsa, Ok. and usually dive Beaver Lake, Ark. and Tenkiller Lake, OK.
I have read several forums about Haigh Quarry and can't hardly wait to check it out.

Can Anyone Help an OKIE out?????????????????

I might be there that weekend but its a little far out to tell. If you realy want to dive. Call a LDS in the chicago area and join on a Charter in the big lake. This is were the real diving is. I would def be up for that.

It's pretty far out in advance, but I'm sure you'll be able to find someone.

BTW, Tenkiller is fun huh? :) I dove there a few times a couple years ago. Some of the worse viz I've seen.

Yep, Tenkiller is not known for it's great viz, But the hunt for big catfish is always fun there,

I would but already made airfare purchese about a month ago!
I'm flying out Friday July 25th , but I'll be back again later in the summer. Maybe then be able to make a longer weekend dives.
