How are things at Mermet?

Glen has poated a message on his site advising divers not to come down this weekend (3/22-23) because of the recent bad weather, the viz was down to 5'. Has anybody seen what things are like there first hand?

I just got back from Atlanta and judging from every swollen creek, stream, etc is southern IL, I'm pretty sure you don't want to be doing any diving at Mermet right now.

I was at Mermet this past weekend. he viz was maybe 5 ft. Had a class so did not get deep. Talked to a couple who were at the 100ft platform and they said there was little to no viz. It was raining Sat. afternoon when I left.
The fields next to Hwy. 47 look like lakes. Hope the rains stop soon!
