Well, March 1st is here and just went bye a few days ago. I forgot but State parke Marina/Dive Shop is now open 7 days a week. We are well, kind of open you could say still doing work around the place but we opened up. I still have to say water temps are still 41*. Don't think that the littel warm up we have had for afew days was enough to warm the water up and weith the cold spell we are getting and all the rain and snow, it will be ahwile before the condtions are supper for everyone to come and go dive. I will do my best at keeping some updates for the next several months.

All babes all the time, and the best dive site within 200 miles. How can ya beat that?!
I'm sure I'll be down soon. Have been missing some of my favorite dive buddies and favorite dive sites!

Well, we never got the snow they predicted. Just a few flakes. But to the north of us they got all the snow we were to get and I thought that was great. Nice and sunny out today with the same for the next few days. Hope this will help let things dry out and clear up some. We are about 2 feet above what we were just a day ago with all the rain now getting into the lake. We are to crest tomorow they think. If they can just keep from dumping Beaver into us it wont be to bad.

In Arnold Mo., we are sitting around 10-12 inches of snow. Glad we could take one for the team...I guess.

9.5 inches here at the house. And it all came between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Should be fun trying to get on a plane in the morning.

actually, its quite a site to see if it starts snowing while you are under water. Pop up at the surface, and see everything all white.
But yeah, the other 99.999% of the time, it does suck.

Hey SLIM, who do I need to contact for reservations to camp at the State Park? And what does it cost?

Slim is the marina expert, but I am probably the campground expert. The marina and the campground are completely separate business centers. We stay there a couple of weeks a year, typically, with a few weekend stays here and there. We stay in campground #2. Campground #1 seems to be more oriented for trailers (but both have tent and trailer). Ranges from $9 to $20 depending on tent to trailer w/hookups.
Are you planning your honeymoon? :D

Bob, if you're planning your honeymoon, I think I can get discount tickets to the Jim Stafford show.
