VuDuLounge on Hold

Well folks, the VuDuLounge may be on hold for a while...I've accepted a contract with Dyncorp and if all goes according to plan I'll leave for Iraq in April...I plan to be gone for 12-18 months...then return to the VuDuLounge and retirement...I'll keep you all posted...the laptop goes with me...

Maybe you can work in a Red Sea dive trip on the way in or out.

Congrats, just remember rules of engament.

I have had offers bye them and a few others. You will no doubt see some of my bros over there. Lets just hope you get to meet them in a good way.

Keep your powder dry and front sight picture. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Takes longer for a second or third then just one smooth pull.

Keep us all posted once a week or more to know that you are counting the days down for your return trip to be back diving around here. Then you can all bye us a pie and a drink for the second opening of the VuDo Loung, and you can get your pink flamingo then.

I'll be training Iraqi Police...that's all I know at the present...but I'll have breaks where I can leave the country...I have to stay out 330 days to keep my tax exemption status, with my oldest daughter in Germany and an impending family reunion in Costa Rica that should not pose to be a problem...I'll supposedly have internet access there so I'll keep you all in touch...part of my agreement with the Minister of Finance (FrauVuDu) is I get a boat, kitted out as I please!!! You see, when I get back I planning on diving whenever I feel like it, which is most of the time...I'm looking for something in the 26' range...it will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine...

Update...

Was put on hold due to contract renegotiations and all training for April being for the Afghan mission...I'm in contact with my recruiter who tells me they're trying to get a new group out sometime time in the latter part of April but look at leaving in May...

I've got 10 lbs. of jumbos enroute for the weekend, check out dives for a new member of the team and trying out our new u/w metal detector...

I haven't smoked a cigarette in a month and each time I've run I manage to shave a little more time off my run...prepping for my trip to Va.
