Well I thought that since there has not been much of posting the last few days and I was in the water I would let you all konw what it was like.
Got a call to do a salvage job for some cutomers that we work with many times and to help them get some parts that were lost from the last storm that went through this area several weeks ago.
To paint the picture I had the dive set up for first part of the afternoon. I figured that the water would be cool and the air temps not to bad. Well at 12:30 when I headed over to the place tha air temp was 69* and when I got out of the water and back in my Jeep turned on the radio and they said air temps were 29*. Did I forget to mention that the wind was blowing like a mother dog. The lake looked like it Coz did on our non divng day. There were like 2-3 foot swells. Water temp was much warmer. At 41* with a vis ov 20 or greater, I only got to a max depth of 22 feet and spent a total dive time of 15 minutes. Did I mention that Ialmost froze when I got out just incase I forgot, I thought I would mention it again.
Well, if anyone is thinking about comming down to TBL this weekend or soon, you will find that the water is clear. Justa little cool. Think about what the air temps will be like when you get out.
Jim, DDB I was thinking about you all when I got out. I know you all remember that weekend.
