Are you ready for a great diving adventure? Our Spring Flingto Bonaire will be May 3-10, 2008. Space is limited and if you’ve never been to Bonaire, you can’t miss this trip! Bonaire's sea abounds with beautiful marine life and a fascinating variety of multi-colored tropical fish. The sea is remarkably calm and conditions are superb for both scuba diving and snorkeling. On average, Bonaire's visibility exceeds 100 feet and the average water temperature is 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The fringing reef begins close to the shore, usually a short 30 foot swim or less, making Bonaire the world’s best destination for shore diving, and consequently, you can dive on your own schedule. Relax and do your own thing! Those who want to come to Atlanta on Friday evening can join us for dinner. We’ll stay at the Comfort Inn – Atlanta. We will leave from Atlanta for Bonaire on Saturday morning, staying at Buddy’s Resort which was voted the #1 resort in Bonaire by SCUBA Diving Magazine. The cost of the trip is $1600.00, which includes Atlanta hotel accommodations, air fare from Atlanta, and Bonaire accommodations. Accommodations in Bonaire offer two bedroom suites with a bath in each bedroom, a living area and a full kitchen with four people to a suite. (Other accommodations are available. Call for details (615 872-8743). The trip will include six morning boat dives and unlimited air for shore dives. Unlimited Nitrox will be $50. Breakfasts, one truck per suite, and taxes and transfers are included. Each diver pays exit and/or sanctuary fees.

So... the 1600 price is for two couples per room?

The $1600 is for one person.

You will be housed with three other people. The "suite" is really two apt's (bed, bath, kitchen, private entrance) with a connecting door that can be locked from either side. You can get a bedroom with two single beds, or one with a queen bed.

the 1600 includes one night in atlanta, 8 days/nights parking in atlanta, airfare, transportation to from airports and hotel/resort, 7 nights in bonaire, unlimited nitrox/air, unlimited shore diving, one boat dive (two tanks) per day (sunday - friday = we dive friday am only, plane leaves sat about 2pm). free full hot breakfast included too. rental truck per four people (four door nissan pickup).

we typically get 4 or 5 dives per day (two tanks on boat, two tanks from shore, one night dive) for five days, then just morning dives on the last day so we have 24 hours of no diving before getting on the plane. depths are 30-130 feet. our group gets own boat (12-15 divers) and we pick where to dive (democratically of course).

You pay gas/transportation to atlanta and home again. you also pay for lunch and dinner (grocery is one block from resort and you have full kitchen in apt/suite). oh, and you must return rental truck with full tank of gas too. by the way, the nitrox (and air) is available 24/7 from a drive-through where you drop off empties and load up fulls.

The resort has large wet rooms for hanging and rinsing gear, so you lug it off the boat, or out of pickup, and rinse it, and hang it up in their lockers (which is locked at night, when attendant absent - secret key shown to guests so you can get in 24/7). Dive shop, two restaurants, boat dock, and a really nice reef is at resort, just a few steps out your door.
