2007/ 2008 Bad Ending/ Bad Start

At about 2 PM 12/31/07 we had a boater fall overboard into the Arkansas River, according to a witness, founder and go under and not resurface. Have spent a few days searching with help of local friends/ agencies w/ up to and including side scan sonar...so far no go...water is about 47F...I was last out 1/5/08...what's bad is I've known the victim for about 7 years...

That is good to hear. Was it the cold water or tangled?

...surface recovery, due to rains the river was at a high flow, well over 100,000 cfs, probably the most difficult recovery I've ever done due to conditions, not a good day to even be out on the boat, today the flow is over 200,000!!! not sure what it was then but it was smokin'...
