I have never been that cold in my life. The computers all said the water was 46, and I have been to 118 feet at Mermet in January, and this water today was freaking cold. After one dive, I had brown spots showing up on my hands, which people told me could be frost bite setting in. And I had on 5 mil ever flex gloves, the same ones I have used at Table Rock and Mermet, and was perfectly fine. Not today, too damn cold. I am now ready to order the dry suit.

About time you learned to stay out of the cold :D...

I'd call dan about the brown spots. I've seen frostbite before and it ain't brown, except in severe cases when the tissue dies, then it's black, not brown...

But on the seriouse side, let us know what you find out about the brown spots.

they seem to have gone away now. I am still curious though. But not curious enough to ask too many questions. I'm afraid I might not like the answers.
