Stockton Lake, December 8th

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to let everyone know that a few of us will be diving Stockton Lake on Saturday December 8. Anyone and everyone is welcome to show up.
We are going to start off about 9 AM. When I stopped by the lake last week it looked like it was starting to clear up a bit. The actual dive site is still up in the air, so I will post the location as soon as we get one nailed down.

I would be interested in joining your group. I have not dived at Stockton, so I don't know my way around there at all.

Just let me know where and when to meet you all and what profiles you intend to dive so I can have the correct gasses.

Hey Charlie,
One of the divers will be diving his doubles for the first time, so we will be fairly shallow. We are not anticipating going deeper than 70 ft. or so. We are making a run down on Tuesday to check conditions again and maybe get his first dive or two out of the way. I will post again Tuesday evening with a meeting place and time.

Ok, just back from Stockton Lake and I hope that I don't scare anyone off who is wanting to come down. Vis was very low, at about 18" to 5 ft. Still had a couple of nice dives, just have to keep your buddy close.
Water temp at the surface was a balmy 56 degrees, with the temp at 30 ft. about 52 degrees.
Charlie19, where would you like to meet? Do you want to meet in Nevada, MO and then follow me? You can post here or send me a PM and let me know. We are currently looking at a couple of different sites depending on what the weather is doing, so I will post more about that later in the week.

Ok Charlie19, how about we meet at the Buger King in Nevada? If you take the last Nevada exit and turn right onto Austin Blvd. it will be just a few blocks down on the left. How does about 0730 sound?

I'm fighting a persistent head cold and just can't seem to shake it, as of now. I'm afraid I'll have to pass on this weekend, but when I'm back to being able to dive, I'll let you know and maybe we can hook up on something then. I hope you guys have a good day. Let me know how it goes.
