Hello Everyone,
We are pleased to announce that the following arrangements have been made with Jerry to provide the following winter charters out of Milwaukee.
December 22nd
January 1st
January 26th
February 23rd
Space is limited to 10 divers and registration is on a first come first serve basis. All reservations need to be confirmed with payment in full. We will take a waiting list. Cancellation with less then 5 days notice and no shows are not refundable. There is a bit of extra time and work involved for Jerry to maintain the Len-Der for safe winter operations. The boat is also restricted to 10 divers for the winter.
Dive plan is simple, with 1-2 foot or less seas we will go to the Milwaukee, with anything larger we will go to the Willy.
Cost is $70.00 per person and this is made to Shipwreck Adventures LLC.
These charters are always a blast! And a unique chance to dive the lake during the winter months.

Cold is a relative term... However Jerry heats the cabin during the winter keeping it comfortable. The water 2 years ago was low 40's, but it will be no less then 33 =) Air temp is another story, this is when you want to vote for global warming.
All divers need to be in dry suits and have a redundant air supply, Jerry's rules and a smart one for this time of year.
Don't hesitate to call or email with any questions. There are only 5 spots open on the Saturdays and 6 for New Years.

Greg does Double 130s count for redundant air supply or should I sling a al40?

Yes, doubles, H or Y if you can manage it, or sling/pony bottle. I'll be diving either Boris with a 40 or double 45's

Is he one of those guys that has the large cigarette lighter plug cup warmer he drops in for about 10 min prior to the dive to warm the water up for you?

I would love to go, but that whole 7 hour drive thing, and always a chance on bad weather makes me hesitate. PLus, didnt a lot of these wrecks get down there by trying to go out on the lake in the winter time?
And lastly, Ken might decide to go, and then I would have to buddy up with him.

I'm with you on the drive thing, but I'm still planning on making one of these freezefests. If anybody knows his way around the lake in winter, it's Jerry.
And buddying with you would just make it twice as nasty.

Just do what I do- put the regs in the dishwasher and the tanks in the washing machine. Drink a 6 pack and re-assemble. If you are feeling really adventurous, watch a movie at the same time.

I prefer the regs in the washing machine. Washing machine does a better job of getting all the sand and mud out, that Ken kicks up.
