I will still be diving local, because she still works weekends. Its the solo trips to Australia I probably wont be able to do any more.

I will be down there for sure doing OW line drills for the cavern class, which will only be a few dives, then I will be ready to play for a while.

Cool. I'll be going down tonight, coming home Sunday afternoon. The Metropolis Inn was full, I'll be at the Super 8.

Had a good time with the class, and line drills. Even went for a fun dive after class, that Ken tagged along with. We still had fun anyway.

You should have stuck around. Somebody (no, not me:p) lost another weight pouch in the same place and had to carry a rock.

I just love the wonderful 'Mares MRS integrated weight system' in my Mares Morphos. I'm wondering about the MRS acronym it must stand for Might Release Suddenly, May need Rock System. Notes from my log:
1. Pouches may hold <8lbs. Any more and pouch will release itself mid dive for no apparant reason even if you check before the dive and are sure pouch is inserted and locked in correctly. Do not perform a giant stride entry off dock as the force of the water hitting the pouches can release them.
2. Carrying an 8lb rock in cold water for 45min is painful and results in bruised fingertips.
If I were designing a BCD with integrated weights that needed to be able to be removed easily by a buddy in an emergency, I'd sure as Sh-t make sure that they don't fall out randomly and CAUSE emergencies-but that's just me... Looks like I need to start using a weight belt w. this BCD and graduate to BP/W ASAP.
