I heard some people talking over the weekend that Cerulean has closed its doors, and not just for the winter. Has anybody else heard this, or can confirm?

Bob - I was down there the last weekend of September. Dave indicated that he was closing the doors at the end of October. I've been going down there for 12 years and every year I hear the same stories from Dave. However, I believe he's serious this time and even at that time he was moving stuff out of the quarry. He leases the property and I believe that (as well as increased competition) is a contributing factor.

yeah. I have heard him say that for the last few years as well. I finally quit taking him seriously, and he moves on out. He could have done more with that place, thats for sure. 20 bucks to get in, and really nothing to offer besides the water. I wonder if someone else will buck up and take over.
Thanks for the info.

Bob - I hope someone does step in. That's my favorite place for OW checkout weekends. Warmer water, relatively shallow, easy entry point and controlled environment.
