Today was the 5th annual cleanup day at Cannonball cave. A small group turned out and picked up trash around the parking lot, hillside and shoreline. We decided to make one long dive and cleanup around the cave entrance during the safety stop. Conditions were very good with very light flow, 35' vis, and 57 degree water temp.
This was my first time diving CB from a boat. Sure beats humping the hill on a very hot day.
With the small number in attendance, we all did pretty good on the door prizes; I won the rebreather and a few regulators. Special thanks to NACD for sponsoring the event and also to Doug for organizing everything.
