Let me start this with - I am in no way wanting to start a "Dive Shop War". I made some childish remarks yesterday and was corrected. I did mean what I said, I just should have been more mature about it. I was posting as a diver, not a LDS. From this point forward, I will subscribe to the "If you can not say anything nice, shut your pie hole" standard. As a LDS, I will always have the "what can I do for you" attitude. I think my solution to expressing my opinion is to come in here anonymous and speak freely. It seems if I were to post anything (positive or negative) my motives are going to be in question. I would like your (Midwest Dive members) opinion on this.
Yep, I am inviting criticism, ridicule and scorn. Fire away. Ken

Hey Ken,

I think it's great that you are here participating, and doing so under your name. But as a LDS owner you really cannot separate that identity from being "just a diver". So please stay and keep your identity, but know that you are representing your shop as well as yourself.

And anonymous isn't really possible in a community this small. I am not using my name in my avatar signature, but most everyone who participates on this board know that I'm Bill and also knows that I am on staff at The Great American Diving Co. As a contract staffer (Assistant Instructor) I don't speak for or represent *****, but I still consider that any comments I make here will reflect on my shop and also try to either remain unbiased or make a bold admission of my association when I recommend ***** or a brand of gear that we carry.

Thanks, Mr. Skull. My reason for the post was this: I do not want to be held to a differnt standard because I happen to own a LDS (it actually own me). Maybe I am being a sissy. Ken
