Norfork

I was diving Norfork for the first time yesterday. Went in at Quarry Marina by the dam. Viz was 6ft. Water temp 72 at the surface and at about 30 feet water was about 60. It was 52 degrees below 50 feet. I enjoyed it - It was the usual local dive at a new spot. We rented a boat went tooling around and got three dives in.

Next time you are going there let me know. I like to dive at Norfork and know a few decent spots. Jordan marina is on the other side of the dam from Quarry Mariana and they have a map and list of sites. Don't know if you got over there.

They have a bunch of "planted" items to dive. Bulldozer, VW van, Snap Tool Van, a boat, a school bus. Also, there are bridges, home sites, and sttep walls to dive. Vis is normally better than 6 ft. But, they have been getting a lot of rain down there lately.
