Yeah, yeah, yeah. All I can say is it will be a nice break to be around someone more mature than our typical diving crowd!!! Uh, wait. I'm lumped into that crowd too. :)

Thanks everybody.

I've got one opening come up for my wreck diving class on August 4-5. This isn't your momma's wreck class. Day 1 will be at Haigh. Where we'll cover proper dive planning, gas management, propulsion, and wreck diving equipment. You'll spend most of the in-water time without your mask, doing air shares, running line, and other fun things. All while trying to control your buoyancy and trim. Day 2 will be out of Burnham Harbor, diving on the Mac for the penetration portion of the class. Space is limited on the boat.

You'll spend most of the in-water time without your mask, Hi,

I can't take the class at this point, but am curious about this one point you made. How does a person deal with this if they need their prescription mask to see their SPG, computer, and compass? I have a spare prescription mask. In a class such as this, would the spare be taken away as well?

Thanks

Brian

Could be. Depends on what I'm trying to teach you (i.e. following a line without a mask, etc.) The last wreck class I taught, I had all but one of their masks at one point in time.
