Dropped down to the VuDu Lounge to get some dives in with Lou and his team. John, Tim, Lou and I dove off of Tim's boat. Mark went with us, but decided his seals were too torn to dive and he wasn't interested in diving wet.

We did two dives. Both were briefly to 71 ft. with water going from 70 to 55 deg. Most of the dive was at the 45 ft level. Some were in wet suits and thought the plan was to hang a little deeper, the cold modified the plan.

They brought some Nitrox down from the Dive Shop in Little Rock in 120s. I wanted to get some experience in the 120 since this seems to be the rig for the NC trip in July. I thought I might do one dive in my dry suit and switch to wet for the second to get a ball park idea on the weighting, but decided not to take my nice dry suit off until the diving was done!

The vis was pretty fair, but not the same as Table Rock. The rains seem to have effected it more. 40 to 55 ft was worse than deeper or shallower. The thermocline was almost the same as Table Rock at 16 ft.

Then, it was back to the Lounge for drying and squaring away gear. (I got ready to dive doubles Sunday morning, but we never got around to it.) Then some good ol' VuDuStew and of course a few libations.
