Vis was exactly what Slim had promised. I was right around 70 degrees on the surface, I never really felt a thermocline until I was "deep", and it dropped into the lower 40s. But to be honest, I cant say where the drop occured. Vis was outstanding at the dam. 20-30 foot, opened up ever more around 40 foot. About 110, it started to get cloudy again, but still was very nice diving. I was able to shut off my light at 90 foot coming back up.
Anyway, while I was down there, I finished off my DSAT tec rec class (finally.) I am now certified to go 165 on air. Next step is trimix, but that wont be until after my Belize trip the first week in July.
