I get the last bit of dental work done Monday, April 9, and will be ready to dive again! I'll be heading to florida's cave country that weekend (13-16), have an Earth Day event the next weekend, but then it would be nice to come up to Missouri for a weekend of cave diving....say April 28/29?
Anyone making plans for the weekend yet? I'd like to meet up with other's, although I may bring a dive buddy (but he doesn't know it yet), or may be looking for a buddy.

I think with April showers, getting into any local caves for the next month or so might be a little challenging. I would love to get in a few caves soon, thats for sure.

If all goes as planned, I'll be leaving for N Fl that weekend. However, we plan to dive on a regular basis all summer. Just hollar at me if you want to dive. I'll go at the drop of a hat even if my buds cant get away. Even if the spring rains mess up the caves, Mine LaMotte is always diveable. I'm still wanting to dive Three Sisters when conditions allow.

Will have to wait to see how things are with the spring rains. After I get back from teaching a private class next week I hope to get a few more in before I get to busy at the marina. I know that before the MDWCDS Workshop there will be several diving before and after the event.

I am planning on being there in July. That may be the first opportunity for me to dive Missouri caves again too. But maybe it will be a dry spring (yeah right)!

Steve, it gets dry here in july and august so that's the best tilme for Three Sisters and our newest find: Cow Pie Sink (1500 feet of line and still going). To push into new passage will now take stages (for me at least).
I'll post here on the board and pm those interested when it looks like a weekend of diving. we have 24/7 access to airfills, but nitrox is a two hour drive (depths are 40-60 feet so air is fine and we can drop O2 at entrance if the dives get longer, which they will).

The MO NSS-CDS workshop is Saturday, July 21, in Poplar Bluff, MO--conveniently near Cannonball.

Yikes. Same day as my thirty year high school reunion. Choices, choices.

That is not a hard choice to make at all. Just think your 30 year reunion only comes once in a life and there will be less people there this time. The workshop you get to meet many NEW buddies and learn at the same time.
I would make the workshop. But that is just me.
