Where's the action going to be? I've read Mermet, what time do they open?

Sunday or Monday? Or both?

Pennyroyal is closer for me. I've heard my local dive shop (Blue Meridian) is getting a few together to go, but I haven't heard specifics yet.

Where will you go?

I just got called for a New Year's eve gig, so no diving this weekend. Damn!

Sounds like that's where we'll be diving (ledges/stairsteps). Unless, one of the locals shows up that can show us some new shore diving spots. C & J Scuba has put in some interesting stuff to dive on but I think they're only accessable by boat.

I hope the vis holds down there, they're predicting 2+ inches of rain on Sat.

Did a couple dives off the ledges/stairsteps. Water level is just about normal pool so the sailboat is @ 80' & alligator 108'. Temp 45. Vis 30' to 35'

4 of us showed up, had a good time.

I went to Pennyroyal. Just 1 dive for me. The vis was 30' in the deep, down to 90 feet, then it went to 0. I'm not sure what was going on down there but I didn't know I was on the bottom until I was standing on it. Anyways, it was a good dive, and a great way to start the new year.
