Very sorry that I will not be diving Table Rock this weekend.
But called Glen @ Mermet, and the roads are clear down there and he will be open for diving on Sunday as well as Saturday. Mermet is scheduled to be closed on Sundays during winter months, but due to popular requests and a very cooperative owner, the quarry will be open on Sunday this weekend.
Hope to see some of you down there.

O man, figures. I need a hose for my dry suit... wonder if they'd have one... Anything going on the next weekend?

Yes, they will have a hose for your suit.

We had an excellent weekend of diving at Mermet. Roads were clear, Saturday warmed up into the 40s, and today was right around freezing.
The spoonbill were particularly plentiful, one of which just about ran over one of my dive buddies while it was filter-feeding. She got to touch it on its way by and said it was kinda squishy like a dolphin or a ray. Water temp was 50 F at the surface and only 46 F at the bottom, so we actually warmed up a bit when we got in the water. Visibility was generally better than 20 feet except for right at the bottom in the deep area, where it was just a foot or 2.
We only had to share the lake with about a dozen other divers, a couple of whom were wetsuit-clad students who had waited just a bit too long to get certified for their winter tropical vacations. They did tough it out, though.
The heated dressing rooms were much appreciated, and we discovered a great new use for a new feature of the facility. A hot shower -- taken while still wearing your drysuit after a long dive -- nicely and gently warms up your whole body and the air inside your suit, making the surface interval until the next dive much more pleasant.

I went to aquatech sat and bought a lp hose for my dry suit, then dove locally Sunday. Anything going on next weekend? Mermet would have been nice... but it just didn't work out for me this weekend.

That's it for this year.
Next weekend is The Dive Shop Xmas Party for staff and premier customers.
Following weekend I have to pay my dues by working an OW class in the pool.
The rest of this calendar year will be Florida cave diving for me and my good buddy SLIM.
Mermet is closed in January, so perhaps I'll see ya in Feb or March.
