It was one year ago this holiday weekend that I completed my Intro to cave class. And as of yet, I still havent seen my Intro card from IANTD or NSS-CDS.

IANTD and NSS have both had some difficult issues and poor follow-through during the past year. But both seem to have their act together for the last several months. So at this point I'd say your instructor just isn't trying to get it done for you.

Good thing you have dive buddies who trust you when you SAY that you completed the course successfully.

You better be geting with your instructor and checking to see if they can make some phone calls for you. IANTD did have some problems but since the switch back to FL and now that the Mounts have it back they are able to get things moved through swiftly. I got my latest IANTD certs with in a month after I took the class and the paper work processed.

Since I recently completed a course with one of the best, I'll report back to you all on that instructor theory when I get my card ;-) :-D

Like I said DDB, I would be calling your instructor. Just to let you know, I have to mail an item to Scububa, I just got some thing in the mail today for him. Bet he knows what it might be. Funny how he has gotten his so soon and you are having problems DDB, give that instgructor a call.

Reporting as promised. I have my AdvEANx card from IANTD. I completed the course Nov 11. And, to SLIM's credit, I could have had the card last weekend, but the weather preempted my dive plans down there.

I am official to 140' or what ever my gas allows (whichever is shallower)

Congrats!!!

I am still waiting for my instructor to pull his head out of his ass and do whatever he needs to get done to get this completed, but I'm not holding my breath. I've taken my last class with florida folks.
