Aquatec Subalert

I think I know how guys feel about underwater noise makers. I have seen tank bangers disappear on trips.

I'm thinking about getting the Aquatec Subalert - it attaches on the the inflator hose. My main reason for wanting one is when I have Scuba Rangers in the water. Does anyone have one they recommend?

Only time I've every heard one underwater was on a dive in PR. One of the people on the boat had evidently found a sea horse and was blowing it like crazy. I was probably about 50 feet away and completly unaware, I might have heard somthing but nothing loud enough to make me want to look around.

I've someone is within 15' or so I can usually get their attention with a hand pop, if they are further away than that, I don't really think I need to get their attention :D.
