That's right folks, time to show the best of what you've captured during the year in our 1st annual photo contest.

Here is how the contest works:

Post your entries to the Photo Contest - Fall 2006 (http://www.midwestdive.com/gallery/browseimages.php?c=27) section of our gallery.

We will use the built in gallery rating system to determine the winner so everybody needs to participate on rating the images. There is a rating link at the upper right of every image (see attachment).

The pictures with the highest rating at the end of the month will win. In the event of a tie we'll have a voteoff...

MidwestDive T-Shirts will be awarded in each category:


Underwater - Midwest
Above Water - Midwest
Underwater - Non-Midwest
Above Water - Non-MidwestIf anyone knows of a shop or manufacturer that would like to sponsor a "Grand Prize" for highest ranked among the 4, let me know.

I forgot to mention, the contest will end December 31st.

I have posted photos to the site before. After trying several source locations and sizes, I can't seem to get one to take. Is the feature operational?

Even though the November elections are over, there is still some voting to be done. We have just over a month to go before the polls are closed on the First Annual MWD photo competition. Its also never to late to get more entries added. We've been reading the trip reports all year, so now its time to show us what you saw.

Looking at several of the new photos posted - there are some really goods ones. We need the judging to be tougher :) and have lots more entered.
