Dive Destination Calendars?

I notice a lot of messages here fall in the lines of "Who's going to be at XXX this weekend?"

That's a great use of the board and I don't want to discourage that but it got me thinking. The forum software allows the creation of as many calendars we want, so what if for the more popular dive sites, we added site calendars? Say you're going to Mermet this weekend, you could go add an entry to the Mermet calendar and everybody can check and see who's gonna be there.

Do you think this kind of feature would be usefull (and more importantly used)?

That would be neat.

Most of the time it is hard to find people that can drop what they are doing and dive. Wive, Kids, Family always seem to get in the may.
This way I could find other people to go diving.

Sounds like a great idea. I wish I was closer to use it for the ones on the east side - since there is NO diving on the west side. :D
