Hello everyone. My real name is John and I am new to this board. I have been diving for four years now, PADI AOW, and I finally got my wife to get certified last year after three years of my nagging her.
I was certified in the Philippines on the Island of Boracay, then got my AOW locally at Pearl Lake. My wife had taken her lessons locally at Sea Lions in Illinois and took her referal to the Philippines and did her open water cert dives at Action Divers at Puerto Galera. She has been hooked ever since, ( coral reefs will do that). She later dove in Dumagete, she enjoyed the sites but did not like the "divemaster" she was with.
We hope to go back in 2008 and dive some more. we havew been up to Pearl Lake since we came back and plan to dive Haigh Quarry next season.
We look forward to diveing the midwest this coming year.
I wil keep to this board to find local diving expierances and friends.
