Wish I could but Iwill be busy with a class that I am taking. Trust me if and only after I pass it, I will not only let you but all on this board what my new rating will be. So far it has only been one long week and second long weekend.

I am trying to decide to go. I will be there on Saturday if I make it. Maybe I can meet some of you if I make it. Warning - I will be looking for a buddy!

I wont be there. Sounds like a good time though, but too many people for my liking in the quarry. I hope the silt will settle by next weekend.

I have to agree with that. I'm thinking of going down that weekend also.

Would love to go, but have a prior commitment to spend the weekend on a houseboat diving Bull Shoals Lake.

Will be at Mermet the following weekend, though.

Well, I walked around asking "Are you from MidWestDive board?" (And you ought to TRY and pronounce the Capital Letters :-) But, everyone thought I was looking for Midwest Diving. No one knew ReefRaff.

Great weather. Hooked up with some folks from Rockford and dove with them.

Just got back - we were there Saturday and Sunday, nearly all day both days. It was my first time there and that's a nice facility with even nicer people. I was busy with a bunch of students and helping the DUI folks so there wasn't much chat time, we were in the first few sections of the main pavillion.

We did skip the Saturday DUI dinner in favor of the Barbeque Festival in Metropolis. Spectacular grilling and way too much food, I brought home about five pounds of pulled pork and plan on making a pig of myself for the next few days.

Yes, it is a nice facility and everyone was pretty nice. Sorry I missed you. I tried to check all the white board IDs, but am not sure what you guys were ID'd as anyway.

I only had time for two dives. Kids had me occupied all Friday night, so I drove down Saturday. Had to catch a plane on Sunday, so I drove back Saturday eve. Would have been nice to stay. Weather was great.

I went mainly to sort out an issue with my suit. After my first dive, I confered with the DUI folks. I think they are going to take care of my problem to MORE than my satisfaction, so it was well worth the effort for me to make it down there.
