My Seaquest BCD has somehow developed a small pinhole in the rubber hose just above the power inflator. Is this an expensive repair? I have done several Google searches trying to find the hose for a price but have come up empty each time. I plan to have it fixed by a LDS but was just curious what I should expect to be a fair price.

Not a chance; I want it done right.

Mine broke right at the top, just below where it is joined to the part that screws onto the body of the BC. Trying to fix it myself is the disaster that Bob won't let me forget. Payback for the pizza epic.
It was a known defect with a run of hoses on the Balance and probably other models. The company replaced it for free. There is a warning about it on the Seaquest sight, and bringing a printout into my LDS got their muy rapido.
BTW, it wasn't Aquaseal but stuff used to fix radiator hoses. I learned my lesson.

Since the hoses are defective it might be worth a shot, especially if you bitch about a ruined dive. What model is it?

It's virtually impossible to (reliably/permanently) repair holes in either the bladder or the corrugated inflator hose. In most instances, a fix will hold for a little while and then fail, often dramatically, typically at a high-stress moment. This would be a very bad thing for you, though spectators might find it highly entertaining.
Replace the hose. Your shop may decline to sell you the part (usually their contract with the manufacturer won't allow them to) but you might be able to get one directly from the manufacturer or from an overseas source. If you have the sealant and know how to deburr a zip tie, it's not hard to do so long as you're minimally handy. Otherwise, take it in and let the shop do the work - it's a five minute job even if you have a working pull-dump on the inflator.

My goal is to have the 13" hose replaced by the LDS. I am just wondering what a fair price should be for them to replace the hose.

I am just wondering what a fair price should be for them to replace the hose.:D I have a conflict of interest - I work in a dive shop so a fair price is at least twice what the boss is willing to charge. Or pay. If you want a quote, PM me with your contact info and I'll get one for you tomorrow.
As a general rule, I suggest that divers consider something when pricing repairs to their gear: if it's true that you usually get what you pay for, would you feel safer knowing that the technician who works on your gear is being paid busboy wages...or more like an auto mechanic?

Exactly my sad story. My friends intend to be entertained by mentioning it for months to come.

Got it fixed yesterday. $30. for a new hose and installed. I can't complain about that.
