Insurance Woes

Well I passed the IE on July 2nd. I had a little pity on the people at Vicencia & Buckley and so I didn't call until July 11th to change my insurance from AI to Instuctor. (Pity in that all the dive community's insurance must be renewed by June 30th so I know its a busy time for them.) Well they processed my husbands with no problem and he recieved his shiny new card showing teaching status.

Me on the other hand, recieved a less than shiny new card stating member current, NOT AUTHORIZED TO TEACH!

I have since called V&B 2 more times and emailed them once last week.I got an out of office reply on that.

I am now pissed off.

Grrrrr!

I hope the person I have to deal with there enjoyed her time off. She will have a less than friendly welcome awaiting her bright and early Monday morning!!!

Thanks for allowing me this opportunity to bitch, moan and complain.

I can appreciate your situtation - I am in-active myself. My shop owner had to fax the info in for me - waiting for him to get back. He has been gone a week. All the numbers are the same with SSI - so they have my number on file - just nothing in writing.
