Will be doing some easy fun dives this weekend at Table Rock Lake.

Anyone who wants is welcome to join me.

The water is warm and clear.

Sounds like fun, but I'm going to try for another Lake Michigan charter that weekend.

OK, so you're all doing cooler stuff than me. At least I'll be underwater!

Table Rock Lake conditions this weekend:
Water temp was 84 F at the surface, 81 F all the way down to 24 ft., just a little bit cooler (78 F) down to the 30 ft. thermocline, 60 F below the thermocline, and just a little bit cooler (54F) at 80 ft. Visibility was also great, with 15-20 ft. visibility in the shallow water, 20-30 ft. visibility in the deep water, and a rather murky layer around the thermocline.

Six of us made fun dives all weekend long, including a night dive, a deep dive, a Divemaster site-mapping dive, a search-and-recovery dive (successful) for a jet-skier’s lost eyeglasses, and a “giant crawfish clam buffet feeding frenzy dive”. An excellent weekend, even if it was spent in a wetsuit!
