Guiness World Record Attempt

Divers needed. On August 12, 2006 we will be attempting to break the world record for the most divers in the water at one time. The attempt will be made at the Portage Quarry in Bowling Green, Ohio. Anyone interested please look into it. The more, the better the chance of breaking the record. The attempt is only one part of the weekend. It's not how many you get in the water, it's how many you get out safe! I don't know about this attempt.

I can agree. Aprehension leads to nervousness, which may lead to panic. As any diver knows panic can lead to death. No one should continue any dive with extreme aprehension.
That said, the quarry is a 23 acre lake. Plenty of room for this attempt. But no one should go in the water if they do not feel comfortable.
