Well, after months activly montoring logs an blocking many addresses, it seems someont got through. Still not sure how, but the server was bursting data and the host took it down to protect their bandwith and other sites.
It seems to be stable now an I've run severaal tools, changed passwords, etc, but I really haven't tracked down the problem. Bear with me if it happens again (been stable for a few hours now). I'm monitoring but still a bit in the dark.
