Did a fun dive in TBL today, yes a fun dive. AJ was working with a guy on some advanced classes and I was just there to hang out and follow. THis was a great dive since all the others have been busy doing WORK wiht cable and dock stuff.

We headed over to good ole Spoon Bill Bluff. Anchored the boat and let the student do all that. Since he was working on his Boat Specialty. Started out the dive bye slowly working our way over to the edge and to the deer and then along the wall and back up over to the Lawn Jocky and back to the boat.

Water temps were 68* above the Thermocline and 49* below it. Thermocline is right at 30 feet and trust me you can tell. It is getting deeper but the water above the thermocline is about maybe 10 foot of viz, could be all the rain we have had, below the thermocline viz is about 40 plus and this was with the sun shinning and no lights. I was in my Dry suit, AJ in his 3 mm full suit (yes a 3 mm) the other guy was in a 7mm full suit, hood and gloves. AJ even had a hood on also.

Hope htis helps thoses that might be comming down an idea what to be expecting. Besides the MORE rain on the way.

Actually, I was just getting ready to ask about this. I am scheduled to work an AOW class in a few weeks down there. Thanks for the update.
