I'm am wanting to hitting haigh this Sat if anyones interested in going.
if this weekend is not good I would go next Sat too.

I might FINALLY be able to do next Sat. This weekend is out though. I still have not been able to hit the water yet, and need to do so soon.

So was anybody out there this past weekend when the accident happened? I heard there was a fatality at the quarry.

I just read a little bit about it...from what I understand, 2 guys agreed to descend seperately, and meet up on the bottom. I also understand this was on the LARC at Haigh. What happened from there I dont know, and dont care to speculate. There apparently was an unsuccessful rescue attempt.

Prayers and thoughts go out to the family and friends of the diver, and also to those who witnessed it.

The weather this weekend does not look promising. Unless the forecast improves, I'm going to bail on Saturday. Pun intended.:cool:

I'll be there staffing an IDC on Saturday. Afterwards, I'm going to be doing a quick dive in my doubles to re-check my weighting with new dry suit undies.

We are going to try to get down there, but which day depends on a few factors that haven't been decided yet.

As for the weather, who knows. It was supposed to be bad all week, but has managed to surprise me the last couple of days. Maybe it will cooperate!

well I am out for Sat. I have to get some things done around the house.
but I want to hit the Quarry one more time before I go on a charter in the lake. Just want to do some warm up dives first

Dude! You had better be careful about where that worm goes up!

BTW, I still might make it on Saturday unless the weather really sucks. I've got a new toy I'm dying to play with.
