With all this talk on here about classes, agencies and more classes, I did something crazy this weekend...I went FUN DIVING!!!!!!..
Me and a couple buddies wandered down highway 24 to Mermet Springs again. The dives was incedible. On Saturday, we had at least 50-60 foot vis. Best I have ever seen there, especially after the storms that went through the day before. From the 65 foot platform, you could see the box car. Just a truely amazing day. The also planted a new private jet plane in the open space between the box car and to where the floating boat is anchored. That is pretty cool to see too. Always something new and exciting at Mermet. By the way, did I mention these dives was on April 1st? ;):D
I had to do it. Couldnt help myself. On Saturday, it was a beautiful 7-75 degrees topside. Water temp was 51 on the shallow platforms, and still in the 40's every where else. Vis was 10-20 foot average. We did 3 deep dives, and one circuit dive. We thought about doing a night dive, but by this point, everybody was getting tired. 2 of us had been up since 4 that morning, and the other guy had worked all night, and only caught an hour nap in the back of his truck. We decided to call it a night.
We only did one dive this morning. Vis was really bad today. Maybe 5-10 foot at best on the circuit. My buddy said a major storm moved through last night or early this morning, but i guess I slept through it. Anyway, we did our one dive and came back home to enjoy the nice weather outside with our new extra hour of daylight.
