Mermet was fun as usual this weekend. Vis was maybe 15 foot in most parts. Best vis seemed to be between 60 and 80 foot, then a little cloudy from 80-100, and the it was about 15-20 below 100. I got 4 1/2 dives in this weekend. If you want to know about the 1/2, ask me. I'm not going to bad mouth anybody publically on a board, just incase he happens to join the board. All I will say is we was doing a deep dive that this character asked to go on with us, and it turned out he wasnt ready for it at all. At 12 minutes, he called the dive on air. (Maybe Ken will have more info on him, he spent a lot more time with him then I did.) Anyway, the dives was good. Vis has been better, but it has been worse. I was diving with my buddies Mike, Marty and we all know Ken.

Looks like I wont be diving next weekend, so this will have to hold me over for a few weeks.

Is that pic a little overexposed or is there snow in the background. Forcast orginally called for snow in Rolla but it's been pushed back a day. We did get sleet most of the day.

Blizzard like conditions. We had to cut a hole in the ice 2 feet thick just to dive. That picture was taken during the calm of the storm. :D

No snow, just the way the light was hitting that rock.

Yea, on my monitor here at work it doesn't look like snow...really did on my monitor at home though.

I guess the one important dive I forgot to mention, was one in which we almost made it all the way around the quarry, but someone called the dive after 60 minutes because he didnt have a p-valve, and he had to go. When we surfaced, we was about 20 yards from the deep dock. Not mentioning names though. (Not me this time.)
