Need some Neoprene

I have to make a patch for my dogs chest protector, I need it to be 3mm or 5mm/ 12'' x 36". Im just not sure were to get that materal, I was thinking of asking a LDS if they have any old suits that they will give to me for really cheep. Or does anyone have a old 3mm/5mm shorty they will sell to me for my dogs for protection from thorn bushes and rasor grass.

Have you tried any craft/hobby stores? Maybe some frabric stores?

If you can wait til early next week, I can check at the shop. I think we have a few old suits. They are probably 7mm, but there could be some lighter material ones. Anyway, if that would work, and its not a huge hurry, I can let you know on Monday or Tuesday.
