TS and I did a short dive in RBD today. Dive time was 67 minutes with a max depth of 146. Water was 50* and there was very very low flow. You could see it and feel it but it was no big deal. Vis was about 15 foot with some suspened particals and the further back we got it was getting brown in color. Had fun, thanks TS hope to see you and JC andmany others next Saturday the 4th.

It was definitely my pleasure. My first peek at The Big Room, and my first opportunity to put all my stage regs into use on one dive. And we even had a nice warm sunny afternoon to warm us up when we finished up our deco!

What do ya'll use for bottom mix in the lower tunnel?? Is the big room big???

Especially if we plan to spend some time down there, we will use Trimix 20/30. For a short poke around we might do it on EAN 25, and occasionally on air--feels goood. Deco gasses are EAN 50 and O2.

The Big Room is big. The Lower Tunnel is deeper than the Upper Tunnel. The Circuit is a circuit. The Stairwell steps down toward the Lower Tunnel. Our Missouri caves have very imaginative names for the cave features. ;)
