Fellow cave divers,

Much to my dismay, my job has taken me from Lake City, Florida to Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. I am already missing the pristine cave diving I enjoyed so much only minutes away from my former home. I am hoping to find some other cave divers locally and experience some of what midwest diving has to offer.

Hi and welcome to the "Land of dirt". We have a great group of cave divers. I live about 50 south of the Kansas City area. The only diving in "our" area is in Southern Missouri; Table Rock Lake, Stockton Lake, Norfolk, and in NW Arkansas it is Beaver. Outside of Joplin MO is Oronogo.

There is some diving in Nebraska also. This of course is just ow diving that I am talking about.

Welcome to the board. I noticed your other post and was going to welcome you there.

Couple of nice caves over in MO; you're probably already familar with them. Several divers from this board dive them pretty regular. Couple of those same divers are out of town right now, so it might be a while before they respond. I'm an Intro diver myself and will do full at some point; I'm sure we could get together if Roubidoux isn't too far for you.

Enjoy the board. steve

You can drop me an email and I will let you know when a few of us head up to do some cavern/Intro cave skills/dives at Roubi.

I know of three divers in your area you may be able to hook up with on a regular basis.
