Anyone have any contact info for the owner (Gary Henson, I think) at Mine LaMotte? I have read that it's good to call before going during the winter months.

Yes. And even though we had a set time and were there to get in, no one was there to let us in. We had to call from the gate and wait a few minutes til the guy with the key arrived. There is a padlocked gate and you can't just drive in.

Do you have the phone number? I do not, as I was a student in the class and arrangements were made by our instructor. I could get the number, if you need it though.

Another side note. I have T-Mobile cell phone service. I had NO phone service anywhere in that area. I could not have called anyone. My hubby has Nextel, and the others in our group, did not seem to have any problems.

No, I don't have the number; if you could get it, that would be great. I have searched a bit but haven't had any luck. They used to have a website at the-offsets.com but it isn't active anymore.

I know 2 different instructor friends who would have the number. It may be Monday before I can get it, but I'll pass it along then.

We had been planning on going Tuesday, however, I tore a drysuit seal yesterday and now this cold weather comes in. We may put it off a week or two; I have to get the seal fixed for sure.
