Got in the lake today to do some cable work for another Dock company. Had to replace the old cable with some new. I was on the other end of the lake, over bye GOlden MO. Water was 46* with about 20 foot of vis. The worst part is since the lake is down the anchors are only in about 20 feet of water and I did not get to do much sight seeing. Just busy pulling cable and then having ot clamp them and go back and do it again.

Well some of us are kind of lucky. But it was WORK, hard work, the inside of my suit was wet not from the lake water but from the heat I generated pulling cable. It was not as much fun as you think it is. You are right, I got to get in the water. heheheheheheeheheheheheh

Which Marina were you working on? My uncle built Fisherman's Haven Resort in the Golden area of the Lake when the Lake was 1st being developed. Many great memories for a 10 yr old were made there each summer.

Sorry it was for a private dock. I am glad that many do not take our knowledg and use a differant size cabel so that we would not have to chang them out as offten. I do like the ones that like to change them on a regular 5 year interval just to keep them safe. This dock is like near Emerald Cove Resort, somthing like that. Took longer to drive there and get the gear set up then the dive.
