Just thought I'd toss this out there. I got my OW cert. last August, and one of the pieces of gear I wanted most was my own wetsuit. I'm not obese, but I'm not a supermodel, and finding a wetsuit that fit looked like it would be impossible, just from reading the various companies' size charts. But then the owner of my local dive shop told me that Aqua Lung was coming out with a new stretch suit, and that it was almost guaranteed to fit me. I questioned whether it would maintain it's warmth when it was stretched, and he said the company claims it does. So I ordered one, with some trepidation, and when it came in, I took it home and tried it on. It fit great! It's a 7 mm suit, and the fit was fantastic! Now I just can't wait 'til spring so I can get out and use it. So if any of you ladies out there are having similar concerns about finding a wetsuit, you might want to look into this one.
Just a thought.

If its a 7 mil, why do you have to wait until Spring?

Before I got my drysuit I was diving a 7mm year-round in water down to the low 40's. The rough part isn't the cold water, it's the cold air.

Nothing better than finding a suit that fits just right. I have been using Henderson Hyperstretch for a few years and it fits great.
Not too much longer, BottomDweller, thil you can try it out!

Hey, thanks for speaking up for me, theSkull! That's right, I'm in Nebraska, and although we're having an unseasonably warm winter, the water's still stinkin' cold! I have another small reason for waiting 'til spring, though. I had surgery in October, so I can't dive yet, no matter how warm the water is! But once my medically enforced surface interval is over, lookout fish! : )
