I got in a few dives today at Mermet. Surface temp is right around 60, then drops off into the 40's about 40 foot. Plenty of spoonbill out, and hardly anybody was there.

I would say 15 foot on the circuit, a little better on the deep side, maybe 20-25.

Its suppose to be nice for the next week or so. Vis should clear up and be even better for you. I would like to join you, but I will be in the 72 degree water of the Florida springs...have I mentioned that before?

Aww but I must wait until next month to get to FL. Let me wonder why we must console you and not me for not geting to go?

Be staying in Luraville, Dec 22nd through Jan 2 ro 3rd. My cave buddy The Skull will be down also. Mandoing open water dives in FL, That is so dangerous. Brrrrrrrrr I just shutter at that thought of diving OW in FL. I can barly make it when I am at Coz or in the lake.

Yeah, I'm bringing my drysuit and 6-inch thick skivvies just to be on the safe side.;)

. . . and be careful in that there salt water . . . that stuff's corrosive . . . better do a thorough rinse. Salt water tastes bad and burns your eyes, too. If it weren't for all the pretty colors, noone would brave it. Oh, maybe for the wrecks. :)

Speaking of a good rinse, Marvin had a P-valve disconnect incident this morning. His undies woulda smelled better if they had been soaked in salt water. ;)

WOW poor Marv, I have never had that problem but ben around osme who have. It aint a perty site when you have a P-Valve blow out or as they call it a disconect.
