DiveHeart Luau Success

Well the DiveHeart Luau appered to be successful. It seemed like there were more people than seats. The room was definitely packed. This was the first DiveHeart event I attended and there were all kinds of interesting people there and I look forward to beginning my buddy training.

After a day at Haigh however, then being at the luau at 6:30 and the Grand Prize drawing not being scheduled until 11:00pm, it made for a LONG day. In fact we left at 11:00 and they hadn't drawn the grand prizes yet.

That is great. Can't beat group of divers, they are the best!

Our Dive for Dreams which is a fund raiser for the Dream Factory in KC has had to be rescheduled for Nov 20th due to Hurricane Wilma and Gall Bladder surgery.

I had a blast, and being there last night re-affirmed by belief that it's all about the diving!!!

I thought the highlight of the evening was when they had a blind guy shaving another guy's head! It's was surreal but somehow it seemed OK. What a party!
