OKay, I finally got in my dry suit with the Andys undies, and I dont know if I will be doing this again. I figured out that the collar on the garment doesnt allow my neck seal to seal properly, and again flooded it. I think I will stick with my sweat pants and sweat shirt. Maybe add an argon system in case I think I need to be warmer. Still studying my options there.

Hmm sounds like when the DS was ordered inches were not added to compensait for the thermals. You can still get some polarfleace undies from any local hunting or camping store that will do better then sweat pants. Depending on what your sweat pants are made from, once they get wet, no more thermal protection. Also they might not be very good insulators even with Argon. Argon is not a problem solver. Wich weight of thermals did you get. You order them the same time you got your suit?

Bass Pro Shops sell some long underwear for hunting that is made from polar fleace and you can get it in differant thicknesses.

I have to ,kinda, tuck the collar of my undergarment down to keep the seal from leaking. Then, it works good.

Slim is right. Sweat-suits are usually made of cotton. Cotton=bad for undergarment. Polypropalene(spelling) with another layer over it works good.

Before I had official DS undergarments, I bought Polartec stuff at Gander Mountain, an outdoors store. The pants were the kind you wear inside waders. They were polartec and had stirrups on the legs so they didn't ride up getting into the DS. They only cost about 14.99 or so and were warm.

Just a thought.

Like Steve, one of my undergarment pieces has a high collar and I have to tuck it under before donning my DS. I also tuck the knit cuffs inside the sleeves.

For me, the hassle and expense involved in that would make it a last resort.

Ah, go ahead and get the Argon, Ken. When you start diving trimix you'll have to have it anyway.

Yeah, great. More #$%#% to buy and lug around. It never ends.

And Bob, what's this "Provider of the pies" stuff. Shouldn't you actually provide some pies before you put that under your name?:D

I've already contacted my lawyers about that.
