Crystal River, FL [Archive]

My next trip (actually taking hubby too) will be to Crystal River, FL for a manatee dive on Thurs the 10th of Feb, then a drift dive down the Rainbow River and on Sat we are doing the Dive Quest at Epcot.

This is not my typical trip - I prefer a Live Aboard with 3 to 5 dives a day. This is a Scuba Rangers trip. My 1st since becoming a Ranger Instr. Not sure what I have gotten myself into???

I wish we would have had more time to do that when I was down there. A couple of the guys that went down early said it was awesome. I hope you have a great time down there.

I dove Crystal River last June and it was terrific for a beginner like me. There weren't many manatee's there, but we did see a few. Have Fun!!!

I'm bummed - we won't be doing the Crystal River trip. Family member has had some heath problems, so...........hopefully the manatees will still be there for the next trip.
