I noticed that. I guess it rained down there without it raining here. That wiped out my Sunday plans, too.

Mine LaMotte it is for us. Have you been there Bob or anyone? I heard the bottom is some kind of black bog.

Cold! More of a party site and trash receptacle for beer cans and underwear than a dive site. No fills or service of any kind. But at least it only costs $20 to dive it for a day.

Wouldn't be worth the contribution. The water is slightly acidic, and the underwear, t-shirts, and ballcaps on the bottom all deteriorate rather quickly.

OMG, I just checked the flow rate again and it's 10!

I'm not surprised. It rained here overnight last night and we had some thunderstorms move through this evening.

10 is do-able. I've dived it at 12 with one fin tied behind my butt. ;)

Now Skull, tell the truth. It was nont 1 fin tied behind. You just forgot your fins is all, they were sitting at the ledge at CB down by the lake. Isn't that right????

Well I suggested we just take the scooters, but that idea was nixed.

Then I was thinking if I was perfectly streamlined and kicked like hell, maybe even use gigantic freediving fins, I could get in.

but I think skull has the right idea, I am going to tie one fin behind my butt!

Don't imagine I'll live that one down for awhile. Fortunately I had a decent buddy running clean-up for me.

I had a fin, yeah, but it was tied behind my butt since I had no exposure suit. I would have given anything for a leaf to sandwich between my toes. I had to pack mud between my toes. . . . And I LIKED it that way!
